The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Asylum Support Accommodation Programme, what the change in project definition was following the endorsement of the revised Business Transformation Delivery Model.

Answered by Home Office

The updated Business Transformation Delivery Model proposed a change in the way contracts will work in the future, improving HO control and transparency and securing better value for money.

This model will require additional internal work to support improved contract and supplier management capabilities. As such the ASAP definition includes an expansion to the Change Management elements of the Programme.
