Asked by Adam JogeeLabourForeign, Commonwealth and Development OfficeTabled Answered 8 September 2026UIN 23764

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, if he will take steps to support the work of the Commonwealth Africa Anti-Corruption Centre.

Answered by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office

The Government is supportive of the work of the Commonwealth Africa Anti-Corruption Centre (CAACC). In August 2026 our High Commissioner to Botswana hosted CAACC officials to discuss their recent work. We continue to work closely with the Commonwealth Secretariat and its associated organisations and institutions to build democratic resilience in line with the Commonwealth's Strategic Plan.
