Answered by Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade
The Department is working across government to support the creation of jobs in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, and across the UK by supporting businesses to start, scale, export and attract investment.
Through our modern Industrial Strategy, we are supporting growth in key sectors with strong potential for high-quality job creation, helping to unlock private investment, strengthen regional growth. Alongside this, the Small Business Plan launched in July 2025 is delivering 200 measures to help businesses start, scale and grow. Local businesses can also access free, impartial support through Staffordshire's Growth Hub, helping them identify opportunities to grow and invest.
