Department for Work and Pensions: Senior Civil Servants

Asked by Charlie DewhirstConservativeDepartment for Work and PensionsTabled Answered 8 September 2026UIN 23919

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many departmental Senior Civil Service away days have taken place in calendar year 2026 to date; in what specific venues; at what cost; and if there was any associated social or team-building activity at public expense.

Answered by Department for Work and Pensions

The information is not centrally held and to provide it would incur disproportionate costs.

DWP does not hire non-government buildings for away days, in line with Cabinet Office guidance.
