Wales Office: Remote Working

Asked by Charlie DewhirstConservativeWales OfficeTabled Answered 7 September 2026UIN 23977

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, what is the percentage office workplace attendance requirement in each of the department’s offices, broken down by location; and whether attendance statistics are collated for each of those individual offices.

Answered by Wales Office

Staff in the Wales Office are expected to spend at least 60 per cent of their time in the office or on official business, which can include conducting site visits or meeting stakeholders.

The Department collates occupancy statistics for its headquarters office. Attendance statistics are not collated for individual offices.
