Revenue and Customs: Remote Working
The question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what is the percentage office workplace attendance requirement in each of HMRC’s offices, broken down by location; and whether attendance statistics are collated for each of those individual offices.
Answered by Treasury
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) does not set office attendance requirements on an office-by-office basis. For employees who are subject to workplace attendance expectations, the current requirement is to spend at least 60% of their working time in the office or at a workplace, regardless of location. Attendance expectations may be adjusted where this is appropriate to support individual circumstances, including health-related needs, workplace adjustments or the requirements of a particular role.
HMRC collates attendance statistics for its individual office locations through its attendance reporting arrangements.
