To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, further to the answer of 8 July 2026, to Question 14349, on Civil Service: Temporary Employment, if they will list each of the internship schemes have been made available in the last 12 months through the department, other than the Fast Stream Summer Internship Programme.

The Ministry of Justice hosts interns via the Civil Service Care Leavers Internship Scheme (managed by the Department for Education) and the Justice AI Unit (as part of the AI Academy).
Each year, HMCTS appoint a number of temporary resource to support Courts, Tribunals and National Services over the summer holiday period. These are temporary posts, up to 12 weeks, advertised as “summer interns” on AO grade and appointed through FAO (Fair and Open) competition with no restrictions.
Finally, the Criminal Cases Review Commission runs internships via the Kalisher Trust.
