Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office: Equality
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what specific diversity and inclusion (a) days, (b) weeks and (c) months, were recognised and marked by (i) the department and (ii) each of its agencies, in the calendar year 2025.
Answered by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) maintained a Diversity and Inclusion Calendar in 2025 which highlighted a range of voluntary observance days (42), weeks (23), and months (20). Those included - for example - Day of Persons with Disabilities, Interfaith Week and PRIDE Month. The Department does not hold separate centrally collated records for each agency. The calendar is a reference tool only and not an exhaustive list of observances.
