To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether she has made an estimate of the temperature on South Western train carriages on the West of England line travelling through Yeovil constituency.

The Department has not made an estimate of temperatures on specific South Western Railway services operating through Yeovil constituency. However, the Department expects operators to provide a safe and comfortable environment for passengers. SWR is currently carrying out a heavy maintenance and refurbishment programme on its trains servicing the Yeovil area which includes air-conditioning and heating fan overhauls.
