To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what discussions he has had with international partners on developing a co-ordinated approach to sanctions against individuals responsible for serious acts of violence in the West Bank.

The UK continues to engage closely with international partners in relation to settler violence, settler terrorism, and wider violence and insecurity in the West Bank. In June, the UK announced co-ordinated sanctions with international partners targeting individuals and entities involved in financing and enabling settler violence in the occupied West Bank. This was the fourth round of sanctions on violent settlers, including sanctioning Ministers Smotrich and Ben-Gvir in their personal capacity for repeated incitement of violence against Palestinian civilians.
We continue to work with our partners to identify further steps to counter settler violence, promote peace and security, and uphold international law. We have made clear to the Government of Israel that those responsible for violence in the West Bank must be held accountable.
