The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what assessment her Department has made of the impact of the under-16s social media ban on organisations that use social media platforms for online campaigns and outreach with young people.

The Government recognises that some organisations use social media platforms to engage with and provide information to under 16s.

Government is continuing to engage with youth organisations, civil society and other stakeholders regarding implementation of the social media ban.
