To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what steps her Department is taking to support farmers in diversifying and expanding businesses in the context of the publication of the Farming Roadmap.

The Farming Roadmap provides long-term certainty so farmers can plan, invest, diversify and grow.
The Government is supporting this through fairer supply chains and routes to market; planning reforms for infrastructure; and investment in technology and innovation.
The Farmer Collaboration Fund will support peer learning, specialist advice and new commercial opportunities, while the Farming and Food Partnership Board and sector-led growth plans will help remove barriers to investment and drive productivity.
The Government is also working to expand access to private finance and diversified income alongside food production.
