Pedestrian Areas: Conservation
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment her Department has made of the potential impact of requiring nature conservation volunteers to pay for a three-year licence to restore and manage roadside grass verges on (a) volunteer participation and (b) biodiversity outcomes.
Answered by Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
Natural England is not involved in the issuing of these licenses and therefore has not conducted any assessment of potential impact of requiring nature conservation volunteers to pay for these on (a) volunteer participation and (b) biodiversity outcomes.
