The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, if her Department will provide an update on the surplus sharing arrangements of the Mineworkers' Pension Scheme.

The Government and Trustees have had constructive engagement on surplus sharing arrangements, and resolving this issue remains a priority for the Government. I will provide an update on the outcome in due course.
