Asked by Connor NaismithLabourMinistry of Housing, Communities and Local GovernmentTabled Answered 8 September 2026UIN 24748

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether she plans to introduce further funding streams specifically aimed at supporting mixed-use town centre regeneration in post-industrial towns.

Answered by Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government

The Government is committed to revitalising high streets, including by supporting mixed use regeneration. A High Streets Strategy will be published this year, and we will set out more details on funding plans in due course, and we are keen to learn from the challenges and good practice across the country.
