The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment the Government has made of the adequacy of support services for (a) families and (b) babies in North East Hampshire.

Answered by Department of Health and Social Care

My Rt Hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, has made this issue a personal priority, and is chairing the Maternity and Neonatal Taskforce to develop a national action plan that will reform maternity and neonatal services to deliver lasting change for women, families, and their babies. The taskforce will consider all aspects of current provision, in North East Hampshire and beyond.
