The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what level of (a) financial support and (b) capital funding has been provided to carbon capture, utilisation and storage projects in England.

At Spending Review 2025, £9.4bn was allocated in capital budgets to cover the costs over the spending review period for filling out the storage capacity in HyNet and East Coast clusters, as well as smaller amounts development funding for Acorn and Viking.
