Barbecues: Fires
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether he has considered introducing restrictions on the sale or use of disposable barbecues during periods of high wildfire risk.
Answered by Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
Retailers have already been informed that disposable barbecues must be removed from sale immediately. The temporary measure will remain under review but will stay in place while the heightened wildfire risk continues.
