To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether the report of the Animal and Plant Health Agency’s 10 July 2026 visit to MBR Acres will be published.

The Home Office does not routinely publish audit or inspection reports relating to individual licensed establishments. Requests for information, including information relating to inspections and audits, are considered on a case-by-case basis. Decisions are made in accordance with the statutory framework governing information obtained under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986, the Freedom of Information Act 2000, data protection legislation and other applicable legal obligations.
The Government is committed to transparency and publishes a range of information about animals in science regulation where appropriate, including annual statistics and non-technical summaries of licenced projects. However, information obtained in the course of regulatory functions must be handled in accordance with the statutory framework, and the effective operation of the regulatory regime must not be undermined. The Government therefore has no current plans to introduce the routine publication of audit or inspection reports for licensed establishments.
