Farmer Collaboration Fund

Asked by James McMurdockIndependentDepartment for Environment, Food and Rural AffairsTabled Answered 7 September 2026UIN 25423

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, with reference to the Department's press release entitled New support to help farmers thrive for generations, published on 16 July 2026, whether steps are being taken to ensure that small family farms are able to access the Farmer Collaboration Fund on an equal basis with larger businesses.

Answered by Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

The Farmer Collaboration Fund is designed to be flexible and accessible by a wide range of farmers, including small family farms. The FCF will provide funding to delivery partners whose bids will be partly assessed on their ability to reach out and engage with farm businesses of various sizes and ownership and them access opportunities for collaboration.
