Asylum: Hotels
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the Government press release entitled Thirteen asylum hotels exited and returned to local communities, published on 12 August 2026, what information her Department holds on whether the 13 hotels require repairs or refurbishment before they can return to normal commercial use.

The Home Office does not expect to make any additional payments to owners or operators of the exited hotels in regard to repairs or refurbishments.
