The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether she plans to align the UK Air Quality Regulations (2010) with the EU Directive 2024/2881 on ambient air quality.

The Government keeps its air quality framework under review, including air quality targets and standards, and will review the Air Quality Strategy by 2028. Our focus is on delivering effective policies across the main sources of emissions to improve air quality and protect public health.
