The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Armoured Cavalry 2025, what assessment his Department made of the potential merits of implementing a Contract Change Proposal for the programme before 2025-26 in order to avoid incurring the £40m additional CDEL.

For the Armoured Cavalry project in 2025, the table shows the forecast expenditure was reduced by £40 million of CDEL and has therefore not incurred additional spend.
