The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, Baroness Taylor, participated in a meeting with Labour MPs and/or councillors on Wednesday 15th July 2026 during which Local Government Reorganisation was discussed.

Answered by Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government

Ministers engage regularly with MPs, councillors and other stakeholders. As has been the case under successive administrations, government departments do not hold records of political meetings.
