Answered by Ministry of Defence

Since the publication of the Strategic Defence Review (SDR) on 2 June 2025, teams across the Department have responded with pace and purpose to deliver the SDR’s vision for UK Defence to be a leading, technology-enabled, defence power, with an Integrated Force that deters, fights, and wins through constant innovation at wartime pace by 2035.

The Government is focused on delivering the recommendations of the Strategic Defence Review and the Defence Investment Plan. Defence Investment Plan is a 10-year plan, setting out investment priorities to 2035.
