The question

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of the 2024 Budget on businesses in Runnymede and Weybridge constituency.

Answered by Torsten Bell

Autumn Budget 2024 took place on 30th October 2024. It made choices necessary to support economic stability and investment, including sustaining public investment at the highest sustained levels since the 1970s, and putting our public finances back on a stable footing. This benefits all part of Britain, because this is a government that wants to see growth in every postcode, and that includes in Runnymede and Weybridge.
